My career in travel began in 1992
Specialties: Custom-designed travel for couples, families or groups of friends, cruises, upscale land tours, Private Jets Around the World, pre-and post-cruise additions, cultural, art & architecture trips, Grand Voyages and World Cruises.
Personal Travel highlight of a recent trip: Experiencing the magnificent cultural and architectural highlights of Rajasthan in northern India. Truly an extraordinary destination and one I highly recommend.
Favorite thing I try to do when I travel: Discovering the ‘back story’ in every destination; the history behind how the city/area/destination grew to be what it is today. Seeing things through the eyes of a native to really appreciate each destination.
Best Travel Advice: Pack a power strip in a corner of the suitcase; allows the charging of all your electronic devices even if there’s only one outlet.
Best Client Rescue: Convincing a client to insure a very expensive trip. When there was a last minute family medical emergency that required cancelling the trip, the full cost of $70,000 was refunded—without travel insurance, all of it would have been forfeited.
Most memorable Client trip: 3 couples on a Private Jet Around the World. An incredible 3-week trip that began in Seattle and ended in Biarritz, France, it was the most stunning trip any of them had ever experienced—even though they were all veteran travelers.
Favorite Destination: Impossible to chose just one, but always England, France and Italy. And for complete cultural diversity, Southeast Asia and India.
Dream Trip: 5-6 weeks in Italy beginning in Verona & Bologna, then on to the wine country in both Tuscany and Chianti, on to Rome for a minimum of 10 days, and ending in Sicily. Then a stop on the Amalfi coast for 3-4 days to relax before returning home.
Bucket List to do’s: Am always open to anything that may pop up and is intriguing – always keep an open mind since something fascinating always appears just when I’m ready!
