Personal Travel highlight of a recent trip: In 2022 I fulfilled my dream trip and went Gorilla trekking in Uganda with National Geographic Expeditions. Experiencing these gentle giants in their natural habitat was beyond amazing! I also got to see chimpanzees, elephants, hippos and water buffalo in land rovers as well as by river boat. We also stayed at some incredible lodges!
Favorite thing I try to do when I travel: Get out of the tourist areas and mingle with the locals.
Best Travel Advice: Try the local foods and try to speak the language, if you at least try they are so much friendlier.
