Favorite thing I try to do when I travel: I love meeting and becoming friends with my ship mates and being able to visit them after the trip is over and they come to visit me. Be daring and try eating the local cuisine. Getting recipes of the foods I have eaten is one of my favorite things to do.
Best Travel Advice: Make the time to travel. Learn about the different cultures and remain open minded. Do not over pack you won’t wear all the things you bring. Bring things you can wash in the sink.
Favorite Destination: I would have to say Australia is one of my favorite destinations, but the South Seas and its vast history of Whaling, makes the history of Nantucket so real to me.
Dream Trip: Traveling the route of the “Whaleship Essex”. Visiting Poland where my family still lives.
Bucket List to do’s: River cruising is the top item on my bucket list followed by a visit to Lord Howe Island.
