Personal Travel highlight of a recent trip: On a recent cruise trip to the south Caribbean, I woke up on Thanksgiving in my state room. I stepped out onto the lido deck with a cup of coffee and watched the sun come up behind the island of Aruba.  As the sun rose in the sky, a crown of incredibly colored rays emanated from behind the clouds. Colors of red, orange and yellow like I have never seen.  It was truly a moment for which to be thankful.

Favorite thing I try to do when I travel: My favorite thing to do when I travel is to find a local place off the beaten path to eat.  During these times, I am able to converse with local people and find out about the culture. I also am able to find out and try new foods. In addition, I enjoy scuba diving.

Best Travel Advice: My best travel advice is to take chances.  Explore the back roads and try a new food or meet new people to learn more about the different cultures.

Favorite Destination:  So far, my favorite destination has been Barcelona.  I always wanted to visit that location and it did not disappoint.  The people were so warm and inviting.  Exploring the landmarks including climbing a mountain and overlooking all of the city!

Dream Trip: There are so many places in the world I would like to visit, but I believe an extensive stay in Africa would be life changing.  I would begin my trip visiting cities of Cairo and South Africa.  It would continue along with a few safaris of the wilderness, tour through the jungle and cage diving with great white sharks. While on our African tour, I would like to take some time to help build a school before relaxing on a beach in Mauritius.

Bucket List to do’s: Outback through Australia. Tour down the Amazon. Trip through Italy and Greece. Visit the Great Wall. Visit Malaysia and Thailand. Tengo in Buenos Aires. Visit Machu Pichu. Transatlantic cruise. Visit all 50 states.
