Senior Travel Specialist
My career in travel began in 1968.
Specialties: Luxury cruises and luxury land tours and customized tours, Australia Specialist.
Personal Travel highlight of a recent trip: Recently, I was fortunate enough to stay at The Brando, which is located on the private island of Tetiaroa in French Polynesia. I stayed in my own beachfront hut complete with an outside dining area, private pool, outdoor bathtub and fully stocked refrigerator. I flew to Tetiaroa from Papeete, Tahiti by private plane where I enjoyed the solitude, exceptional service, wonderful food, amazing spa, snorkeling and reef cruises. The Brando has to be my favorite destination I’ve traveled in my many years in the travel business.
Favorite thing I try to do when I travel: Enjoy the local food and drinks.
Best Travel Advice: Be prepared for all types of weather.
Best Client Rescue: Several years ago when I owned my own travel agency in the Philadelphia area, I received a call from the Philadelphia Eagles asking is I could arrange travel for their new recruits. They had been using a very large agency is the Philadelphia area but were in the process of moving to a larger agency, so they needed support in the process. I was thrilled to handle all the reservations for the new players recruited to play for the Philadelphia Eagles. It was an exciting time to work so closely with the Eagles Management and staff.
Most memorable Client trip: I planned a 40th wedding anniversary for clients who took eight of their closest friends to Paris on the Concorde, stayed in Paris for three nights, then took a river cruise from Paris to Avignon. A private jet was waiting in Marseille and flew them to Venice, where they stayed at the Hotel Cipriani for a few nights before returning home.
Favorite Destination: Tetiaroa, French Polynesian and Botswana, Africa
Dream Trip: World Cruise
Bucket List to do’s: World Cruise on Regent Cruise Line, visit all continents – have traveled to three, so I still need Asia, Australia and Antartica.
