Personal Travel highlight of a recent trip: One of my most memorable trips was to Jerusalem. Visiting the old city was such a thrill, especially praying at the Western Wall, as well as having lunch at a restaurant looking out at the Sea of Galilee! It was surreal!
Favorite thing I try to do when I travel: I always like to find a local restaurant that is away from the tourist area where I can really experience & enjoy the cultural cuisine!
Best Travel Advice: Make copies of your passport and travel documents and take them with you in case you lose them. Also leave all expensive jewelry at home!
Best Client Rescue: I had a client that was flying standby to Costa Rica with his daughter to go surfing when he contacted me that they just got bumped off their flight. He said they were boarding another flight to a completely different city in Costa Rica which was a good three hour drive from their hotel and they needed transportation when they landed. I was in my car driving across Alligator Alley with my son, when I received his urgent call of desperation! I quickly got on it, and in spite of the horrible cell service in the middle of the state, I was able to find a reputable transportation company over there. I quickly booked it and then sent the confirmation over to them, just as they were pushing back from the gate in Miami!! When they landed, the driver was standing in baggage claim holding a sign with their name on it and they were impressed!
Favorite Destination: I would have to say Santorini would be right up at the top, but I also truly loved St. Petersburg, Russia and Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Dream Trip: Spending a week in an overwater bungalow in Tahiti
Bucket List to do’s: I have Australia or New Zealand, and the south Pacific Islands on my bucket list!
