Best Travel Advice: Keep in mind you are travelling to experience new places and things; most likely things will be different than at home so be open to new things.
Best Client Rescue: Rescuing a husband of one of the travelers on a group cruise. The gentleman stopped on the way back to the ship to see yachts in the harbor. He lost track of time until he heard the ship’s whistle as it was leaving port. His wife realized he was not on the ship and frantically came running to myself and the company president. Fortunately the Captain was willing to stall a few minutes while the harbor pilot brought him to the ship where he had to climb an outside ladder in order to board the ship and enter through a window. Fortunately he arrived safe and sound to all of us breathing a sigh of relief. His wife, while glad to see him, was about ready to “kill”him.
Most memorable Client trip: A large Corporate Incentive to Lucerne, Switzerland for the Mardi Gras celebration. Among the highlights was a costume ball.
