Among her favorite trips, Jasmin fondly remembers her visit to Myanmar when it first opened the riverboat “Road to Mandalay,” inaugurated by Peter Ustinov. This adventure took place when the country had just opened to tourism, making it a truly uncharted territory. Exploring the rural communities and immersing herself in the local culture was a highlight of this trip.
During a recent trip to Thailand, Jasmin had the opportunity to stay at a luxury property that provided care and sanctuary to rescue elephants. Walking with these magnificent creatures in the morning, being able to touch them and witness their gentle nature, left a profound impact on her. This experience added to her long-held fascination with elephants and the importance of animal welfare.
